life is a collection of little moments.

house filled with cinnamon scent from making pancakes on Sunday morning…

two little hands interrupting a dream to wrap around your neck…

cookies made with help and love instead of almonds…

a tongue moving as much as the hand scribbling sentences of homework…

two little bottoms squeezing in a tiny slot between the two of you. because being in the middle is the favourite place to be…

an afternoon when absolutely nothing is happening… but life.

I believe that magic hides in simplicity. like the feeling of holding your children’s hands when strolling down the street. or a toddler venturing under the table without bending…

the happiest moments do not require any make ups, new dresses, perfect smiles. they rarely happen looking at a child in a basket dressed as a bunny.

at the end of the day, everything will go down to the simplicity of daily life.

this is what the new series of photos will be about – portraits of life.

extraordinary ordinary life.

life that is real rather than perfect.

love,

Laura
